WHO WE ARE

Lunar Strategies, LLC was founded by three Indiana natives with a global perspective and over two decades in the development of marketing initiatives for consumer and business-to-business clientele in various stages and levels of market penetration. These clients include companies and organizations such as Agilent Technologies, Ameriana Bank, Bayer Diagnostics, Brokers International, Diamond Chain, Eli Lilly, Firestone Industrial, Henny Penny, Hill-Rom, Illinois Power, Indiana Farm Bureau, Indiana Soybean Alliance, Life Technologies, Logansport Memorial Hospital, Maple Leaf Farms, Magnetek, Magnequench, Physicians Health Plan, Riverview Hospital, Roche, Sallie Mae, Spectral Diagnostics, Texas A&M University, The Black Dog Tavern Company, Wabash Trucks, Waterfurnace and Vincennes University.

The founders of the firm were profoundly influenced by an era that gave us Sputnik, John Glenn and the Apollo missions. Lunar Strategies, LLC was named to reflect the principles and
leadership exhibited by a single president. A president who set the direction, not just for an
individual company, but an entire country. A direction that was visionary. A direction that was
clear, compelling and explicit. A direction with an intent and urgency that was unmistakable.

“We will land a man on the moon and return him safely by the end of the decade.” – President
John F. Kennedy

Not knowing if putting a man on the moon was possible to accomplish, this president took the
first small step. His words and actions captured the imagination of the public, inspired our best
and brightest, launched the development of new technologies and created a new industry
(aerospace) and moreover, galvanized the country around this singular purpose.

At Lunar Strategies, we collaborate with presidents and executives to establish and document
an explicit direction, intent and purpose for their companies or product brands. We engineer brand strategies, which go well beyond designing a logo, image or brand voice. Space remains our frontier. However today, it is a more competitive and unforgiving domain. We help our clients explore and inhabit space in the minds of their customers and, more importantly, in the minds their employees. We plot, explore and enhance the trajectory points between the company and its customers, in an effort to orchestrate the desired brand experience and increase brand value, brand preference and share of wallet.

Leveraging leadership, technology and creativity we blend marketing initiatives linked to the client’s brand direction, internalization and customer value perceptions. We do this with pragmatic customer segmentation, messaging and personalization to enhance customer touch points and, moreover, the brand experience. The outcome or ROI is realized in the stability and/or growth of business with current customers (especially the more valuable customers), revenue from like-minded new customers resulting in better margins and often a reduction in number of contacts and, hence, the overall marketing costs per sale.
